The Science
How It Works
A small amount of blood is drawn and placed in a centrifuge, which separates the plasma rich in platelets and growth factors from the red blood cells. This concentrated PRP is then injected into the treatment area, where the growth factors stimulate cellular repair, collagen production, and, in the case of scalp treatment, hair follicle activity.

Why Laser and Me
PRP Therapy in New York City
PRP Therapy in New York City
PRP therapy at Laser and Me harnesses the regenerative power of your own blood to stimulate hair growth and rejuvenate skin at a cellular level. Our studio in Midtown Manhattan serves clients from across New York City who are looking for natural, effective solutions for hair thinning and skin aging.
Platelet-Rich Plasma contains a concentrated dose of growth factors that signal the body to repair and regenerate tissue. When injected into the scalp, these growth factors stimulate dormant hair follicles and increase the density and thickness of existing hair.
PRP is also highly effective as a skin rejuvenation treatment, improving texture, tone, and elasticity by stimulating collagen production at a cellular level.
PRP for Hair Loss in New York
Hair thinning affects millions of people and can significantly impact confidence and quality of life. PRP therapy is one of the most effective non-surgical treatments for early to moderate hair loss, with clinical evidence supporting its ability to increase hair density and reduce shedding.
At Laser and Me, we use a high-quality centrifuge to produce a highly concentrated PRP with optimal growth factor content. Every treatment is customized to your specific pattern of hair loss and scalp condition.
For clients with significant hair loss, we may recommend combining PRP with other hair restoration approaches. Schedule a complimentary consultation to discuss your options.
PRP Facial in NYC: Skin Rejuvenation with Your Own Growth Factors
In addition to scalp PRP for hair loss, we offer PRP facial treatments that use your own platelet-rich plasma to rejuvenate skin at a cellular level. The growth factors in PRP stimulate collagen and elastin production, improving skin texture, tone, firmness, and radiance.
PRP facial is an excellent option for clients who prefer a fully natural approach to anti-aging, as it uses only your own biological material with no synthetic fillers or toxins. It is particularly effective for under-eye hollowing, dull skin, and loss of elasticity.
Many of our New York City clients combine PRP facial with microneedling for enhanced penetration and results. Ask about our combination protocols at your complimentary consultation.
How Much Does PRP Therapy Cost in NYC?
PRP therapy pricing in New York City varies depending on the treatment area (scalp vs. face), the number of sessions in your course, and whether PRP is combined with microneedling or other treatments. At Laser and Me, we provide transparent, upfront pricing at your complimentary consultation.
A standard course of 3 to 4 PRP sessions is recommended for optimal results. We offer single-session pricing as well as package rates for clients committing to a full course. Combination protocols (e.g., microneedling with PRP) are priced to reflect the added value of the combined treatment.
